New Mercies at the End of a Hard Week

Today's Scripture

Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP): "It is because of the LORD's lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His tender compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness."

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, set down what the day demanded. Breathe. You are not approaching a distant God. You are coming to a Father who already knows the weight of this week and who has not run out of mercy.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with gratitude. You have been faithful today even when I could not see it clearly. Your lovingkindness has held me through every demand this week has made.

Prayer for the Night

Jesus, Your mercies are new every morning, and because I am remaining in You through the exhaustion this week has brought, I release what today demanded and trust Your faithfulness to meet me again at dawn, in Jesus' name.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift those who are ending this week more depleted than I am. Those in grief, in illness, in financial strain. Let Your new mercies find them before dawn does.
