Evening Spiritual Posture
Before you pray, take one slow breath and set down the day. Confess anything that needs clearing. Forgive anyone who needs releasing. Enter this time not with a to-do list for God, but with open hands, ready to receive His peace and give Him your burdens.
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You with thanksgiving. You have been present in every hour of this day, even the ones I barely noticed You in. Your faithfulness does not dim when my awareness does, and I am grateful.
Prayer for the Night
Lord, as this day closes I cast every anxious care that is beyond my reach onto You, knowing You hold what I cannot, and Your concern for me never wavers, in Jesus' name. I act on Your Word and throw these worries to You, once and for all, not just for tonight but fully and finally.
Interceding for Others
Father, I lift to You everyone who is lying awake tonight under a weight too heavy for them. You know each name, each situation, each fear they cannot voice. Cast Your care over them as I pray, and let Your peace reach them before morning.
