Courageous Expectation

Today's Scripture

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before bringing any petition tonight, still your heart. Offer thanks that God's Word does not shift with the news of the day. Confess any moment when fear spoke louder than faith. Receive His forgiveness and step into His presence as one who belongs there.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the close of this day with a heart that needs to be quieted and strengthened. You are my light and my salvation, and I will not fear (Psalm 27:1, AMP). I enter Your presence not on the basis of how this day went, but on the basis of what Christ has finished.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, You have promised that those who wait on You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV). I receive that renewal right now as I rest. Let my sleep tonight be the kind that prepares me to act with courage when morning comes.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person tonight who is in a season of waiting and feels the weight of it. Strengthen their hearts just as Your Word promises. Let them know that their waiting is not wasted and that You are not silent.
