Evening Spiritual Posture

Father, I come to You at the close of this week not with a finished list but with an open heart. I lay down the weight of what remains undone and I enter Your presence with thanksgiving, because You are worthy of praise before, during, and after every answer.

Entering God's Presence

Lord, I begin here: You are good. Not good only when the circumstances cooperate, but good in Your very nature, unchanged by the outcome of any week. Your love over me does not thin out when the days are hard. It endures, and that word alone is enough to settle me tonight.

Prayer for the Night

Father, I end this week with thanksgiving on my lips and every unfinished need still in Your hands, for You are good, Your love endures forever, and a grateful heart is never left without an answer, in Jesus' name.

Interceding for Others

Lord, I lift the people around me who are ending this week depleted, disappointed, or afraid. Let the same goodness I am resting in tonight reach them. Let someone speak a word of Your faithfulness over them before they sleep.
