Soul Rest in God Alone

Today's Scripture

"Rest in God alone, my soul, for my hope comes from Him." (Psalm 62:5, CSB)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, set down what you carried today. Breathe out. Confess anything that created distance from God. Receive His forgiveness freely given through Christ. Now enter, not as someone striving, but as someone already held.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the close of this day with thanksgiving. You are my rock and my salvation, my fortress and my refuge, and I am safe in You (Psalm 62:2, CSB).

Prayer for the Night

Lord Jesus, You promised rest to all who come to You weary and burdened (Matthew 11:28, NIV). I come. I lay down the weight of today's demands, the unfinished list, and the low-grade anxiety that followed me through the hours.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift before You every soul tonight who is striving in secret, running on empty, afraid that stillness means falling behind. Meet them in the place where effort runs out. Let them discover that You are their hope, exactly as Your Word declares.

Let prayer become daily.
