When Disappointment Questions His Faithfulness

Evening Spiritual Posture

Father, I come to You tonight with thanksgiving because You are the God who keeps every word You have ever spoken. Your name is faithful and true, and I enter Your presence not on the strength of my track record but on the foundation of Your covenant.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, I thank You that the disappointments of the past do not rewrite what You have promised. Your word in Psalm 105:8 (ESV) declares that You remember Your covenant forever, and forever includes tonight. I rest in that remembrance now.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person tonight whose faith has been worn thin by long waiting. Let Your covenant faithfulness reach them where discouragement has settled in, and remind them that Your promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20, ESV).
