God Does Not Lie and His Promises Stand

Today's Scripture

"God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19, NKJV)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, release what the day pressed into your hands. Confess anything that created distance, receive His forgiveness freely given through Christ, and bring a thankful heart into His presence. You are not approaching a distant God. You are speaking to a Father who already knows your name.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the close of this day with gratitude. You are holy, faithful, and entirely unlike any voice that has ever broken a promise to me. I worship You because You are good and Your mercy endures forever (Psalm 100:5, NKJV).

Prayer for the Night

Father, I rest tonight knowing You are not a man that You should lie. Every promise You have spoken over my life is already secured by Your unchanging character, in Jesus' name. I receive that truth not as a wish but as a fact anchored in who You are.

Interceding for Others

Lord, I lift everyone who is lying down tonight holding an unfulfilled promise. Steady them in Your faithfulness. Let the truth of Numbers 23:19 reach the places in their hearts where doubt has taken root.
