Rooted, Fruitful, and Unshaken

Today's Scripture

"For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit." (Jeremiah 17:8, NKJV)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before bringing any petition, still your heart. Confess anything that created distance today, receive His forgiveness freely given, and cast every care onto Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, NIV). You are not approaching a stranger.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with gratitude. You are the living water, the source that never runs dry, and I am thankful that You have planted me near You.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, I receive rest tonight not as an escape but as an act of faith, trusting that You are at work even while I sleep (Psalm 127:2, NIV). Guard my mind through the night. Let peace, which surpasses all understanding, stand watch over my heart and my thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, NIV).

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person I know who is in a dry season, who feels more withered than fruitful tonight. Plant them deeper in You. Let their roots reach what their eyes cannot yet see.

Let prayer become daily.
