Righteousness, Peace, and Lasting Fruit

Today's Scripture

"The result of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quiet trust forever." (Isaiah 32:17, CSB)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, release the day. Set down the tally of what you did and did not accomplish. You come to God not as someone who has earned a hearing, but as someone who is already known and already held.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You grateful. You are the God who calls the weary to rest and the striving soul to stillness. Your mercies are new this evening, and I receive them.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, quiet the noise inside me tonight. Where striving has been loud, let Your peace speak louder. Let righteousness be the soil, not my effort, and let fruit grow the way You designed it to: slowly, deeply, and without my forcing it.

Interceding for Others

Father, I bring before You the people in my life who are striving tonight, exhausted by the gap between where they are and where they want to be. Let the truth of Isaiah 32:17 reach them: their fruitfulness flows from Your righteousness, not their performance.
