The River That Never Runs Dry

Today's Scripture

"And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing." (Ezekiel 47:12, ESV)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, pause. Offer God the weight of this day with open hands. Confess anything that feels like distance between you and Him, and receive His nearness. You are not approaching a courtroom. You are returning to your Father.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with gratitude. You are the source of every good and perfect gift, and Your Spirit is the living water that sustains everything that truly lasts (James 1:17).

Prayer for the Night

Lord, I ask You to let the river of Your Spirit flow through me without ceasing, as You promised in Ezekiel 47:12, producing fruit that does not wither and effectiveness that does not fade. Let the sanctuary be the source, not my own striving.

Interceding for Others

Father, I bring before You those who feel dry tonight, whose fruit seems to have stopped and whose leaves have begun to curl. Let the river reach them.
