Yielded to God’s Working

Today's Scripture

"For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13, ESV)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before bringing petitions, still your heart. Confess any place today where self-will ran ahead of trust. Receive His forgiveness through 1 John 1:9 (ESV) and enter this prayer from your standing in Christ, seated with Him, not striving beneath Him.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the close of this day with thanksgiving. You are the God who does not grow tired or impatient, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23, ESV). I worship You not because the day was easy, but because You were faithful through it.

Prayer for the Night

Father, I yield my will to You tonight. Work in me both the desire and the power to walk in Christlike obedience, as You have promised in Philippians 2:13. I do not trust in my own willpower. I trust in Your working.

Interceding for Others

Lord, I bring before You those who are straining under the weight of their own effort tonight, people who are trying to force fruit instead of trusting the Vine. Meet them in Philippians 2:13 and let that truth settle into their exhausted places.

Let prayer become daily.
