When Your Prayers Rise Like Incense

Today's Scripture

"And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." (Revelation 5:8, ESV)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, take a slow breath and release the weight of this week into His hands. You are not approaching a distant God. You are coming to a Father who has been listening to every prayer you have whispered, and who holds each one as something precious before His throne.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come before You tonight with a thankful heart. You are seated on the throne, and every prayer I have prayed this week has risen before You like incense. I worship You because You are worthy, and because You hear.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, Revelation 5:8 shows me that my prayers are golden bowls before Your throne, not lost words, not forgotten cries, but fragrant and preserved. I thank You that this week's prayers over my burden have been held before You.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift before You everyone who prayed alongside me this week and everyone who is still carrying a burden they have not yet seen resolved. Let them know tonight that their prayers are golden bowls before Your throne, not lost, not forgotten.

Let prayer become daily.
