Praying as a Kingdom Priest

Today's Scripture

"He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." (Revelation 1:6, CSB)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, let your shoulders drop. Release the tallying of what you did or did not accomplish. You are entering the presence of the One who already knows, already loves, and already finished the work that matters most. Come as you are, standing in Christ.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come before You tonight with gratitude. You are worthy of all glory and dominion, and I worship You before I ask You for a single thing.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, Your Word declares in Revelation 1:6 that You have made me a kingdom and a priest before You. I pray from that truth tonight. I do not approach You hoping I might be welcome. I approach with confidence because Your Son has made the way (Hebrews 10:19, NIV).

Interceding for Others

Father, I stand in this priestly role now for those I love. I bring them before Your throne of grace tonight (Hebrews 4:16, NIV), carrying their names the way a priest carries the people before God.
