Praying From Your Royal Identity

Today's Scripture

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9, AMP)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before praying, still your heart. Release the opinions of the day. You are not defined by what anyone said or did not say. You are defined by what God declared over you in His Word. Enter this prayer as His chosen, royal, holy, set-apart child.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with thanksgiving. You are the God who calls things that are not as though they are (Romans 4:17, NKJV), and You have called me chosen. I worship You not to earn access but because You have already granted it through Your Son.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, You have called me chosen, royal, holy, and set apart, and I will not shrink back from praying from that identity tonight. You did not crown me with purpose so I could approach You like a beggar. I stand on Your Word, in the name of Jesus.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person tonight who has forgotten their identity in You. Let the same Word that is settling my heart find them in their discouragement. May they know they are chosen and royal, not someday but now.

Let prayer become daily.
