Praying as God’s Heir

Today's Scripture

"So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then God has made you an heir." (Galatians 4:7, CSB)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before anything else, still your heart. Release the weight of outcomes. You are not entering this prayer to convince God. You are entering as a child coming home.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You tonight with thanksgiving on my lips and Your Word in my hands. You have been faithful through every hour of this day, and I do not take that lightly.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, I close this evening not as a servant uncertain of his standing, but as Your heir. I pray from that inheritance, asking You to let every request I brought before You today be answered according to the riches of a child, in Jesus' name.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person I prayed for today. They are not forgotten. You are the God who hears and who answers (Psalm 65:2, NIV).

Let prayer become daily.
