Walking Through the Open Door

Today's Scripture

Revelation 3:8 (CSB): "I know your works. Look, I have placed before you an open door that no one can close."

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, pause. Offer thanksgiving for the day that is closing. Lay down any anxiety about the road ahead. You are not standing before God as someone who must earn the right to walk through His door.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You at the close of this day with a grateful heart. You are Lord over every threshold, every path, and every door, and I worship You from that certainty tonight.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, as this night settles, I thank You that Your plans for me are not derailed by my doubts. Your Word declares that the steps of a righteous person are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23, NKJV), and I rest in that ordering tonight.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person tonight who is standing at their own threshold, afraid the door will close before they reach it. Speak to them as You spoke to Philadelphia: the door is open, and You set it so.
