Trusting God’s Appointed Time

Today's Scripture

"For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; for it will certainly come and it will not delay long." (Habakkuk 2:3, AMP)

Evening Spiritual Posture

Before bringing any petition, still your heart. Release the scoreboard of what has and has not happened yet. You are not approaching God to update Him on your progress. You are returning to your Father at the close of day, and He is glad you came.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a grateful heart. You are the Lord of every season, the One who orders time itself, and I worship You not for what I am waiting on but for who You are.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, guard my sleep tonight. Let me lie down and not be afraid, for You alone make me dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8, NIV). While I rest, You are still working, still ordering, still moving the vision toward its appointed time.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person tonight who is on the edge of abandoning what You placed in them. Strengthen them to press on. Remind them, as You have reminded me, that Your purposes will stand (Proverbs 19:21, NIV).
