Father, I come to You at the close of this day with a grateful heart. You are the God who is always near, and tonight I draw near to You. I thank You that You have never left me, not for a single hour.

Prayer for the Night

Lord, as this day closes, I rest in the truth that my soul clings to You and Your hand holds me up through every hour of endurance, in Jesus' name. Let that truth settle deeper than any anxiety that has followed me into this evening.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift to You everyone tonight who is exhausted and barely holding on. Let them feel Your right hand upholding them even now. Be near to those in grief, in fear, and in long seasons of waiting.
