Learning to Be Still and Trust God

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before praying, pause. Release the mental rehearsal of every outcome you have been managing. Confess any striving you have carried into this moment. Come to God not as someone working to make things happen, but as someone who has already placed what matters into sovereign hands.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I enter Your presence today with thanksgiving. You are a refuge and a strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, NKJV). I worship You not for what I need but for who You are.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, I have surrendered my life to You. I have placed in Your hands the relationships, the burdens, the futures, and the fears I cannot carry. Now teach me to be still. Teach me to cease striving and to rest in the knowledge that You are God over everything I have released to You.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift before You every person today who is exhausted from striving. They have surrendered, and yet the weight crept back. Meet them in the stillness they are struggling to find.
