Today's Scripture
"So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." (Hebrews 4:16, NLT)
Daily Spiritual Posture
Still your heart before you pray. Release what you have been holding. You are not fighting for God's attention; you already have it. You stand accepted in Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, ESV), and from that place of security, you speak.
Entering God's Presence
Father, I come to You with thanksgiving. You are the God who was, who is, and who is to come, and Your mercies are new this morning (Lamentations 3:22-23, NLT). I worship You not for what I need, but for who You are.
Prayer of the Day
Father, I come boldly to Your throne this morning, not because I have it together, but because Your Word says I may. I bring the whole of my need before You: my relationships, my finances, my future, every part of my life that I have been managing in my own strength.
Interceding for Others
Lord, I bring to Your throne every person I love who is carrying more than they can hold today. Let them find mercy and grace exactly where their need is greatest (Hebrews 4:16, NLT).
