Presenting Your Whole Life to God

Today's Scripture

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." (Romans 12:1, ESV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Enter this prayer with open hands, not clenched ones. Confess any area where you have been holding back from God. Release it now, and step into His presence from your seat with Christ (Ephesians 2:6, ESV), already lifted, already received.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with gratitude, not because I have it all together, but because Your mercies are new this morning (Lamentations 3:23, ESV). You are worthy of my whole attention, my whole heart, and my whole life.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, I present my whole body, my whole mind, and my whole life as a living offering before You. Not parceling out pieces. Not holding back the hard parts or the hidden parts. I cast all that I am before Your mercy, because Your mercy is the only ground wide enough to hold me.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person reading this who is holding something back from You, not because they do not love You, but because they are afraid. Meet them in that fear with the fullness of Your mercy.
