Renewed Strength for the Weary

Today's Scripture

"But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before praying, set down whatever you have been striving to carry alone. Confess any self-reliance to God. Receive His forgiveness. Enter this prayer from your seat with Christ, lifted above the exhaustion, not buried under it (Ephesians 2:6, CSB).

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with thanksgiving. You are the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, and You do not grow faint or weary (Isaiah 40:28, CSB). I worship You as the inexhaustible source of all strength.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, when the demands of this season have left me running on empty, I remain in You. Your Word declares that those who wait on You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV). I stand on that promise today, not because I feel strong, but because You are strong and I am in You.

Interceding for Others

Father, I bring before You every person in my life who is also running on empty right now. May they encounter You today as the God who never grows weary (Isaiah 40:28, CSB).
