Abiding in the Vine When Life Runs Dry

Today's Scripture

"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, NKJV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Come to this prayer having set down your striving. Confess any place where you have been running on self-effort, receive His grace, and enter His presence as a branch returning to the Vine, not performing, simply remaining.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You not because I have it together but because I know You do. You are the source of every good and perfect gift, and Your mercies are new this morning (Lamentations 3:22-23, CSB).

Prayer of the Day

Lord, Your Word declares that I am the branch and You are the Vine, and that apart from You I can do nothing (John 15:5, NKJV). I receive that truth today not as condemnation but as an invitation. Every demand on my life that exceeds my own capacity is simply a call to abide more deeply in You.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person I know who is running on empty today. They are striving, depleted, and carrying more than they were built to carry alone. Draw them back to the Vine.
