Anointed Eyes and Open Revelation

Today's Scripture

"I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see." (Revelation 3:18, ESV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Still yourself before you pray. Confess anything that has clouded your heart this week, and hand it to God. You are not approaching Him as a blind beggar; you are approaching as a child of the King, seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), asking your Father to open what only He can…

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with thanksgiving. You are the God who sees all things and withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11, ESV). I worship You as the One who opens blind eyes and reveals hidden things (Isaiah 42:16, ESV).

Prayer of the Day

Lord Jesus, You stand before Your church as the faithful Counselor, and today I receive Your counsel. You said in Revelation 3:18 to buy from You eye salve to anoint my eyes so that I may see. I come with open hands. Anoint my eyes with the salve of Your Spirit.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person in my life who is walking in spiritual blindness right now. Anoint their eyes by Your Spirit, just as You are anointing mine. Let the light of the gospel shine through the veil that the enemy has placed over their minds (2 Corinthians 4:4, ESV).
