Open the Eyes of My Heart

Today's Scripture

"I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened." (Ephesians 1:17-18, AMP)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, still yourself. You are not approaching a distant throne. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, ESV). Bring any fog, confusion, or distraction and hand it over. Clear hands receive more light.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come before You with thanksgiving. You are the Father of glory, the source of all light and truth, and it is Your nature to reveal Yourself to those who seek You (Jeremiah 29:13, NIV).

Prayer of the Day

Father, I pray the prayer Paul prayed over Your people and I bring it before You for myself today. Give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Not knowledge about You gathered from a distance, but true knowing, the kind that changes how I see everything (Ephesians 1:17, AMP).

Interceding for Others

Lord, I lift everyone reading this prayer alongside me. May the same spirit of wisdom and revelation rest on them today. Open the eyes of their hearts to see what You see about their lives and their calling (Ephesians 1:18, AMP).

Let prayer become daily.
