Finding Hope in Quiet Surrender

Swipe to pray →

Today's Scripture

"The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (Lamentations 3:24-26, ESV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, release the urgency that has been pressing on your chest. You are not coming to God to convince him. You are coming to someone who already knows, already cares, and has already made provision. Still yourself. Open your hands. Come as one who is learning, again, that God is enough.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with thanksgiving, not because my circumstances are resolved but because You are unchanging. You are the same God who was faithful to Jeremiah in the ruins, and You are faithful to me now.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, You are my portion, and so I will wait quietly and trust You, because a soul that has surrendered to You is never left without hope. I stand on Lamentations 3:24-26 and declare that it is good for me to wait quietly for Your salvation (Lamentations 3:26, ESV).

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person who is waiting in a hard silence today. Let them encounter You not as a distant judge but as their portion, their enough, their inheritance. Renew their hope by the power of Your Spirit (Romans 15:13, NIV).
