Trusting God With What You Cannot Control

Today's Scripture

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6, CSB)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before you bring a single request, still your heart. Confess any anxiety you have been carrying as self-reliance. Thank God that He is not surprised by anything you are facing today. Enter His presence from a place of trust, not panic.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a heart that is learning to open. You are the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and nothing about this day has caught You off guard (Psalm 121:3-4, NIV).

Prayer of the Day

Lord, Your Word declares that You direct the steps of the godly and delight in every detail of their lives (Psalm 37:23, NLT). I stand on that promise this morning.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift everyone reading this who is standing at a crossroads they cannot read. Let them feel the weight of Your hand straightening what they cannot straighten themselves (Proverbs 3:6, CSB).

Let prayer become daily.
