Releasing Every Burden Into God’s Hands

Today's Scripture

"Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth." (Psalm 31:5, NKJV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Enter this prayer with thanksgiving, a heart cleared by confession, and every anxious care handed to God before the first word. You are seated with Christ above the noise of this day (Ephesians 2:6, NKJV). You do not pray from under the weight. You pray from above it.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come before You with gratitude. You are the Lord God of truth, and Your faithfulness stretches to every generation (Psalm 119:90, NKJV). I worship You not for what You will do today, but for who You have always been.

Prayer of the Day

Father, into Your hands I release this day. Every outcome I cannot control, every burden I have carried too long, every fear that woke up before I did, I commit it all to You now. You are the Lord God of truth, and what You hold, You keep.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift before You every person today who is holding something they cannot carry much longer. May they find what David found: that Your hands are the safest place in all creation.
