Fruit That Glorifies God

Today's Scripture

"Filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." (Philippians 1:11, ESV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, take a breath and release the need to prove anything today. You are not approaching God as someone who must earn His attention. You stand in Christ, already accepted, already His, already seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, ESV). Enter from that place.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a grateful heart. You are the God who transforms, who cultivates, who brings forth what is good out of what is ordinary. I thank You that You have not left me to grow on my own.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, I thank You that the fruit of righteousness You are producing in me through Jesus Christ brings glory and praise to You alone. I agree with Your Word in Philippians 1:11 (ESV): the fruit is not mine to manufacture. It comes through Christ, and it belongs to You.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person reading this prayer today. Let the same fruit of righteousness be produced through Christ in them, to Your praise and glory.

Let prayer become daily.
