Blooming in His Presence

Today's Scripture

Song of Solomon 2:13 (NKJV): "The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away!"

Daily Spiritual Posture

Enter this prayer from your seat in Christ. Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV) says God "raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus." You are not praying up toward fruitfulness from a place of lack. You are praying from union with the One in whom all fullness dwells.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a grateful heart. You are the Lord of every season, and every good gift comes from Your hand (James 1:17, NKJV). I release every distraction and lay my cares before You, for Your Word says to cast all my anxiety on You because You care for me (1 Peter 5:7, NIV).

Prayer of the Day

Father, Your Word declares that the fig tree is already putting forth her green figs and the vines are already fragrant (Song of Solomon 2:13, NKJV). I receive that word over my life today. The season of fruitfulness You have prepared for me is not delayed.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person reading this prayer today. Let them feel Your nearness as they pray. Where they have grown weary of waiting, let Song of Solomon 2:13 (NKJV) land like fresh breath in their spirit: the season has already begun.

Let prayer become daily.
