Resting in God’s Stillness

Today's Scripture

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10, CSB)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Enter this prayer with an open, quieted heart. Release every anxious thought before you speak a word. You are not approaching a distant God. You are drawing near to the One who already knows your name and your need.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You this morning with thanksgiving. You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, CSB), and I am grateful that Your door is always open.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, I rest in You this morning, not because the situation has changed, but because I have kept praying through until Your peace began to settle my heart. You said in Psalm 46:10 to be still and know that You are God.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person today who is carrying a burden they have not been able to set down. Let the same stillness You are giving me reach them in their moment of need.

Let prayer become daily.
