Casting Every Care on God

Today's Scripture

"Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7, NKJV)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before praying, take one slow breath and deliberately set down the mental list you walked in with. You are not coming to inform God of your problems. You are coming to a Father who already sees, already cares, and already holds the answer. Enter from that place.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a grateful heart. You are the God who neither sleeps nor slumbers, and Your eyes have been on me through every moment that brought me to this morning (Psalm 121:3-4, NKJV).

Prayer of the Day

Lord, as this week begins, I do what Your Word commands and what Your love makes possible: I cast every care upon You. I cast my fears, the ones I can name and the ones I only feel. I cast my uncertainties about what comes next.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person I know who is overwhelmed right now. Let Your invitation in 1 Peter 5:7 reach them today in a way they can truly receive. Let them feel, not just know, that You care for them personally.

Let prayer become daily.
