Praying as a Beloved Child, Not a Slave

Today's Scripture

"So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, 'Abba, Father.'" (Romans 8:15, NLT)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before you pray, release the posture of a slave. You are not petitioning a distant king. You are a child coming to a Father who already knows your name, already loves you completely, and already leans in to hear your voice. Rest in that truth before you speak a single word.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You this morning with thanksgiving, because You are not a distant God. You are near, You are good, and You have made a way through Jesus for me to stand before You without shame.
