A Future Filled With Hope and Purpose

Today's Scripture

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11, CSB)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Enter this prayer from your seat in Christ, not from beneath your circumstances. You are not pleading upward from a place of defeat. You are praying outward from a place of union with the One who holds every day of your life in His hands (Psalm 139:16, CSB).

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with a grateful heart, because You are the same God today as You were when You spoke hope over a people in exile. Your mercies are new this morning (Lamentations 3:22-23, CSB), and I receive them now.

Prayer of the Day

Lord, remind me this morning that the call You have for my life is a future filled with Your hope and purpose, and steady my steps as I press toward it. Your Word declares that the plans You hold for me are plans for welfare and not calamity, to give me a future and a hope.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person reading this who feels like their best days are behind them or their purpose has slipped out of reach. Remind them, as You are reminding me, that Your plans are not derailed by delay or difficulty.

Let prayer become daily.
