Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

Today's Scripture

"Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.

Daily Spiritual Posture

Before praying, lay down the mental load of the day. Confess anything that has cluttered your heart. Receive His forgiveness. Come in, not as a striver, but as a child whose race is held by a faithful Father.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come to You with gratitude. You are the God who sees every step I take, and You have not looked away. I worship You as the One who holds all things together, including me.

Prayer of the Day

Jesus, You endured the cross and are now seated at the right hand of the Father. Fix my eyes on You today so that I may run with endurance the race held in Your grip. I do not run alone, and I do not run uncertain. I run because You pioneered this path before me.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person today who is running on empty. Strengthen them with power through Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16, NIV). Let them see Jesus, not just their circumstances.
