Held in the Father’s Hand

Today's Scripture

"I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them from my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one can snatch them from the Father's hand." (John 10:28-29, NLT)

Daily Spiritual Posture

Enter today not as one straining to reach God, but as one already held by Him. Quiet the noise of the trial. Still the voice of weariness. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6, NIV), and from that position, you pray.

Entering God's Presence

Father, I come before You with a grateful heart because You are the God who holds and does not let go. You are worthy of all praise, the Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to bring one lamb safely home (Luke 15:4, NLT).

Prayer of the Day

Jesus, I consecrate my grip to Yours today. No trial, no weariness, and no force can pluck me from the hand of the Father who holds me. You said it plainly: no one can snatch me from Your hand (John 10:28, NLT). I stand on that Word right now.

Interceding for Others

Father, I lift every person I know who is holding on by a thread today. Let them feel the reality of Your grip before they feel the relief of their circumstances. Remind them, by Your Spirit, that they are held.
