“Ecclesiastes 3:14 - NIV - “I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it”
Lord Jesus, Sacred Heart full of mercy, I come to You today carrying something I cannot carry much longer. Someone I trusted, someone I loved, someone I depended on has hurt me in a way that left a mark. And I am still holding it. Not because I want to. But because I do not know how to let go. I won’t pretend the hurt was small, Lord. I won’t pretend the wound is healed. It was real. It still is. And there are days when the anger feels like the only honest thing left in me. But I hear You calling me forward. I hear You asking me to open my hands and release what I have been gripping so tightly.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I cannot do this on my own. I have tried. I have failed. So I am asking You to do in me what I cannot do for myself.
“ Psalm 107:1 - “I Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. “
Soften what has grown hard inside me. Loosen the grip of bitterness around my chest. Take this anger, take this ache, and do something holy with it.
I do not ask to forget. I do not ask to pretend it never happened. I ask only for the grace to forgive… the way You forgave me from the cross. Not because it was deserved, but because mercy is who You are. I cannot carry this anymore. I am giving it into your hands and into your care Lord.
Let Your mercy flow through me now, Lord. Pour it into the places I have closed off. Heal my broken heart, what I cannot reach on my own. Free me from this weight so I can walk closer to You. Father, forgive him lord for he do not know what his doing for the consequences.
I place this my household in Your hands and into your care. I place this wound in Your hands. I place this broken trust in Your hands.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed. “Lamentations 3:22-23”- “Tonight, I can rest because You always do.”
Let Your love become the bridge where I do not have the strength to build one myself. In Jesus mighty name.
