About PrayerPrompt.org

A ministry, not just a media site

PrayerPrompt.org is a scripture-praying ministry. Every article, daily prayer, and email we publish fuses a real human need with a verbatim scripture and a prayer that prays the Word back to God. Our readers are intentional believers who open our emails, pray through our content, and trust us because we do not commercialise their faith lightly.

That trust is our most important asset. It is also the lens through which we evaluate every sponsorship request. A sponsored post that does not serve our readers is not a post we will publish, regardless of budget.

What we accept

Content we will consider

Sponsored posts must fall clearly into one of these categories. We will not bend this list for budget.

Bibles, devotionals, and prayer books
Christian music, podcasts, and media
Faith-based courses and discipleship resources
Christian retreat centres and conferences
Ministry fundraising campaigns (vetted)
Marriage and family resources grounded in scripture
Christian non-profits and outreach programmes
Prayer journals, tools, and physical faith products
Theological education and online Bible schools
Christian publishing houses and authors
Not sure if your product qualifies? Email us before preparing a pitch. A one-paragraph description of your product and target audience is enough for us to give you a quick yes or no.
What we do not accept

Content we will decline

These are firm. No exceptions.

Content that contradicts orthodox Christian teaching or scripture
Health, supplement, or wellness products with unverified claims
Political campaigns, candidates, or ballot advocacy
Gambling, alcohol, tobacco, or adult products
Financial products: crypto, trading, loans, or get-rich schemes
Competing prayer platforms or devotional apps without prior discussion
Prosperity gospel or manipulative giving appeals
Content that exploits grief, fear, or spiritual desperation to sell
Why so strict? Our subscribers pray with us every day. They came for scripture and prayer, not a marketplace. Every post we publish, sponsored or not, must answer the question: does this genuinely help someone pray, grow, or act on their faith? If the answer is no, we do not publish it.
Content requirements

What your post must include

Voice and tone

Our site uses a scripture-rich, warfare-oriented prayer voice. Sponsored posts do not have to match this exactly, but they must be warm, faith-grounded, and free of corporate marketing language. Write as one believer speaking to another.

Scripture

At least one verbatim scripture reference (book, chapter, verse, translation) must appear in the body. Paraphrased or loosely cited verses are not acceptable. If your product or cause connects to a biblical theme, show that connection directly in the text.

Word count

Minimum 600 words. Most performing posts on our site run 800–1,200 words. Short advertorials that read like product listings will be returned for expansion.

Images

One featured image required (minimum 1200 × 630 px, JPEG or WebP). Must be rights-cleared. No watermarks. No stock photos of people faking prayer. Photography of real people, real places, or clean typographic designs preferred.

Disclosure

Every sponsored post carries a visible “Sponsored” label at the top of the page and a disclosure line at the bottom. This is non-negotiable and required by FTC guidelines. We write the disclosure copy; you do not need to include it in your submission.

Links

You may include up to 2 outbound links to your site. All sponsored links are tagged rel="sponsored" in line with Google’s guidelines. We will not add nofollow-stripping or any SEO workarounds.

What we do not allow in the body

Review & approval process

How it works

Initial enquiry

Email us with a one-paragraph pitch: what the post is about, your target URL, and your preferred publish window. We respond within 3 business days.

Brief alignment

If the topic fits, we share a short brief. You confirm the angle, key message, and featured scripture before writing begins. This step prevents wasted drafts.

Draft submission

You submit a draft (Google Doc or plain text). Turnaround for our review is 5 business days. We return one round of editorial notes; a second submission that still does not meet guidelines will be declined.

Editorial approval & scheduling

Once approved, we confirm the publish date and invoice. Posts go live only after payment clears. Standard lead time is 7–14 days from final approval.

Publication & newsletter placement

Your post is published on PrayerPrompt.org. Depending on the package agreed, it may also be featured in our next scheduled newsletter to subscribers.

We reserve the right to edit We may make minor edits to headlines, scripture citations, or body copy to align with our voice and guidelines. We will share any substantive edits before publication. Accepting a placement means accepting that we are the final editorial authority on what appears on our site.
